North City Diesel is owned and operated by Ian Taylor, who has more than 40 year’s experience as a motor mechanic and businessman. Established in Porirua about a decade ago, they have a team of qualified and trained staff. The focus is on fleet business, and many customers are leaders in the logistics, transport and freight sectors.

The core business is repairs and servicing, but North City Diesel also supply batteries and related accessories and have a team of specialists they can call on to help out with new tyres, transmission, hydraulics, and electronics.
